Inflation-adjusted video game console prices throughout history

While a couple of these consoles prices look rather inaccurate (I could’ve sworn the PS3 & 360 were more expensive at launch), this is a pretty interesting, and rather eye-opening, account of the strain these systems are putting on our wallets at launch. Looks like the Xbox One is one of the more expensive consoles, in any era.

Looking at this list, I realize 3 things: #1 I didn’t the Dreamcast was only $200, that kinda makes me feel like an asshole for buying one off of a crackhead for $100. #2 I’ve owned more than half of the systems on this list at one point or another. #3 After all these years, I STILL want a Neo Geo, just because.
